RSS feeds

What are newsfeeds?

This is the modern way for you to be notified of any changes in a website - new stories or information, and can be read in many browsers or specific newsreader programmes (available for all platforms)
Many news sites prodide links to their websites using RSS (Really Simple Syndication) which is a way of distributing XML information from the website. When you subscribe to a feed, the newsreader/browser provides you with a pop up list of the headlines, and if you click on any of the items, the parent webpage will be opened automatically, and you will be taken directly to the page of interest.

How do obtain and use newsfeeds?

The BBC has a very useful page on feeds and newsreaders, and if you want to know more I suggest that you pay this site a visit

Feeds provided by the RCR Breast Group are all validated feeds
